The Mesa Temple Visitors' Center as a Learning Center

Brother James and sister Sunny Allred were visiting Mesa, Arizona from Sierra Vista on Sunday, September 6, 2015.  They came to the Mesa Temple Visitors' Center to use the displays to teach their their children Jack (7), Max(5) and Alexa (2) about the Savior and his ministry.  Jack will be baptized soon and his parents were teaching him about why we are baptized and what it symbolizes.
Observing this family, we were taught how the Visitors' Center can be used by families to help children learn about the gospel, keep the Sabbath day holy, and enjoy a family outing.

Brother Allred said, "We find the Visitors' Center has the most complete series of paintings to help teach about the Savior's life and ministry."

The sister missionaries use the Visitors' Center as a teaching center in a number of ways.  Sister Embley teaches Sister Zamudio a lesson on the piano during their dinner hour.
